Holy Family Church Provides Nearly 550 Turkeys and All the Trimmings to Area Families in Need

With help from Boy Scout Troop 333 and local grocery stores, nearly 550 turkeys and all the trimmings were collected and distributed to those in need Monday morning through the Holy Family Church Giving Bank on Fremont Avenue. The scouts asked residents to fill paper bags with food and leave them on front porches throughout the city. Once the food was picked, volunteers at the church divided the items, including canned foods,  boxed mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and more before handing out them out with turkeys to some very appreciative people.
