On Saturday, February 25th from 1pm-5pm, Mission Wines is hosting the official Arts Crawl pre-party with a craft beer tasting and exhibit by local artist, Corey Miller. Enjoy a tasting of five artisan beers for $10 beer or sip a glass of wine before exploring the South Pasadena Arts Crawl. When you’re done, you can pack up a selection of your favorite bottles to go for a discount. Mission Wines is open to all but you must be over 21 years of age to consume alcohol in the tasting bar. No reservation needed.

Corey Miller is a San Gabriel Valley native and South Pasadena resident — a photographer and screenwriter (CSI: Miami, The Family, Body of Proof) whose photographs of vintage American signs and urban landscapes have been featured in numerous museums, galleries and publications around the world. A larger portfolio of his work can be seen online on Instagram and Flickr @toomuchfire.

Featured in Sunset Magazine as “one of the best-regarded stores in Greater L.A,” Mission Wines has been South Pasadena’s fine wine destination for over two decades. Owner Chris Meeske’s ten years of experience as Head Sommelier of L.A.’s Patina restaurant informs the style of this boutique wine shop in which service and knowledge are paramount. Mission Wines also has the best tasting in town: Super Saturday wine tastings include five wines for $15 and you can enjoy half price wine tasting every Wednesday during Happy Hour from 3-6pm. Don’t miss the bi-monthly Shucks Oyster Bar pop-up oyster and wine tasting on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month! Visit for a complete calendar of upcoming events and tastings.
