Dual Crossroads is pleased to announce that they will be featuring Special Effects artist Dan Russo for the annual South Pasadena Arts Walk. The South Pasadena Arts Crawl is a free neighborhood event that will be occurring along Mission Street in South Pasadena from 5:00pm-9:00pm on Saturday, February 25th.
During the crawl, Dan Russo will be performing live clay-sculpting of Skeksis from The Dark Crystal, Klytus from Flash Gordon, and other additional statues. Dan will also be showcasing some of his art, including zombie prop teeth that he made for the Resident Evil film.
“Dan is an exceptional artist who truly has a passion for horror films. I can’t wait to see him in action, and for our customers to see him bring his creations to life!” says store owner, Jennifer Maimone. Jennifer Maimone is a published horror author (Demon’s Prize, and THIRST), with another book on the way (A Cursed Soul). She is also a former special effects makeup artist for independent films, such as Blind Malice, Virginity, and No Return.
At Dual Crossroads, it’s believed everyone has a Light and a Dark to who they are. Here, they can come to a crossroads. As an eclectic boutique, there are a variety of books, New Age and spiritual supplies, Geeky novelties, Halloween and goth lovers’ merchandise, and unique boutique gifts.
