The 2017 NHL Fan Fair inside the Los Angeles Convention Center will be the site of the third annual NHL Mascot Showdown featuring all 27 NHL Mascots as part of the 2017 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend, Jan. 26-29. Fourteen Western Conference Mascots, led by the Los Angeles Kings’ mascot Bailey, will face 13 Eastern Conference Mascots, led by Columbus Blue Jackets’ Stinger, in four days of friendly but fierce competition, including an all-mascot All-Star Game prior to the 2017 Honda NHL All-Star Game at STAPLES Center.

The NHL Mascot Showdown is one of the most anticipated events at the 2017 NHL Fan Fair inside the Los Angeles Convention Center. All 27 NHL Mascots (not every NHL team has its own mascot) will showcase their hockey skills and athletic prowess, offering family friendly fun for fans of all ages. NHL in-arena host Mike Todd will handle play-by-play duties for each event with CM Punk joining in the fun as co-host. Select young fans in attendance will be able to take part in the warm up and stretching session prior to each planned event.

“This annual event is a must see competition during NHL Fan Fair,” said Dave McCarthy, NHL Vice President of Consumer Products Marketing. “Our lovable mascots are eager to share their athletic prowess and unexpected hijinks to provide wholesome family entertainment for all fans in attendance!”
