Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the USA, and is now available at Orange Grove Park. It’s fast, fun, social, and can be played by people of all ages and athletic abilities! It is a cross between ping-pong and tennis played with an oversized paddle and a ball similar to a whiffle ball.
On Saturday October 8, 2016, from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, a Group Play Day will be organized to introduce this new game to the public. Linda Poore will be available to set up for the game, teach you the basic skills, and let you have fun. For inquiries please contact Linda at LJPoore@gmail.com.
Group play for pickleball is designated on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Besides the designated posted times, the courts are available on a first-come, first served basis with a one (1) hour rotation for players waiting to use the courts.
