Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs Team to Help Military Families


Two service clubs in South Pasadena – the Rotary International and Kiwanis International – joined South Pasadena Fire Fighters Association, and The MOMS Club, to lead a community drive last Saturday to support U.S. Marine Corps families at Camp Pendleton. Residents came to the aid and dropped off new or gently used baby, toddler and household items donated were baby clothes, disposable diapers,  crib linens,  baby blankets, playpens school back-packs, notebooks and paper, crayons & washable markers, pencils, umbrella strollers, pots & pans, dishes, shelf liner (new), bed linens, beverage glasses, blankets,kitchen utensils and more. Some of those lending hand included: Gerry Poulin, Bob Pierre, Brian Salazar, Camille Levee, Thomas Sandoval, Rocio Atenco, Elizabeth Kaplan, Case Willems, George Gonzalez, Abel Villanueva, Willia Leung, Charles Wiggington and Dan Evans.
