The South Pasadena Women’s Business Initiative held their monthly mixer in the new home of Nexusplex Studios on Mission Street. Local business owners mingled, chatted and were subsequently treated to an inspired presentation by Robin Foley about the long and winding road to finding her passion of photography. She now runs her own company, Robin Foley Portraits in Old Town Pasadena. There was a great atmosphere of support and comraderie.
The South Pasadena Women’s Business Initiative was first set in motion by Mission Chiropractic Works owner, Charlene Lohmueller in 2015, then conducted by Susan Clarke of Ready Set Go Music, a boutique event band agency, in 2016 and now organized by Delilah Rabina of Hotbox Vintage. With so many woman-owned businesses in South Pasadena, the goal is to create an atmosphere of collaboration to support each other in their endeavors. Each month a different host-business provides an evening of networking with local business owners, business-to-business shop talk, and a small presentation of their business and their experience in South Pasadena.
