The South Pasadena Public Library Board of Trustees recently voted to extend Thursday night hours and to close the library earlier on Monday nights.
The South Pasadena Public Library began the change on Halloween. Library officials say the new schedule for hours will continue through November and beyond.
On Monday, October 31 (Halloween) the library opened at 10 a.m. and closed at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the library will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The current schedule will remain the same for Friday (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), and (1 to 5 p.m.) on Sundays.
The new hours for the South Pasadena Public Library:
- Sundays 1-5
- Mondays 10-6
- Tuesdays 11-9
- Wednesdays 11-9
- Thursdays 11-9
- Fridays 10-6
- Saturdays 10-5
