South Pasadena Police Department to teach Self-Defense Saturday Afternoon


Women can learn how to defend themselves and escape from critical situations.
Instruction will include safety awareness, how to properly hit and kick, how to escape common holds, and how to fight while on the ground.

The free class offered by the South Pasadena Police Department to women ages 18 and up will be held on Saturday, August 13, from noon to 4 p.m. at the War Memorial Building, 435 Fair Oaks Avenue. Persons must be a South Pasadena resident and must pre-register to participate.
