SPPD at Full Strength with 36th Officer

The South Pasadena Police Department’s newest hire officer, Tyler Borrello, right, was sworn in Monday by Police Chief Art Miller at City Hall. Borrello joins the department after working for the Los Angeles Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) for the past year. He also represents the South Pasadena Police Department’s 36th sworn officer. “It brings us up to full sworn strength,” said Miller during the formal swearing-in ceremony on March 6 in the City Council Chambers. Fellow law enforcement officials were in attendance at the event. Below, Borrello’s wife, Tessa, pinned a badge onto her husband’s uniform.
