Taste of South Pasadena ‘Eats on the Streets’ Event

6th Annual Event April 19

The Rotary Club of South Pasadena will host its sixth annual “Taste of South Pasadena” on Wednesday, April 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. along the streets of South Pasadena.

This community fundraiser is an outdoor, strolling event where people enjoy seeing their neighbors and friends, as well as trying new restaurants and supporting their usual hangouts along Fair Oaks Avenue and Mission Street. There will be plenty of food, music, a special early VIP wine and beer tasting, and lots of activities!

Last year, 23 restaurants, bakeries, and other food vendors from South Pasadena participated. The Rotary Club is especially grateful to the restaurants who have supported us in previous years, and we welcome our friends back again this year.

In 2016 we raised over $27,000 and our goal is to exceed that amount this year!

Tickets for the Taste of South Pasadena – Eats on the Streets are $35. It will cost $45 to include the wine and beer tasting at the Canoe House beforehand. Tickets will be available on-line at the South Pasadena Rotary website at SouthPasadenaRotary.org or at Eventbrite.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the State Farm Insurance office at 711 Mission Street from, 9 to 5, Monday through Friday. Call (626) 441-1163 to schedule a pick up time.

The Rotary Club of South Pasadena provides an opportunity for community and international service, while building friendships and developing leaders. Community members are encouraged to visit the monthly meetings held the first Tuesday of the month at the Canoe House restaurant at 6 p.m. and the remaining Tuesdays at the Oneonta Church at noon.

Rotary International was founded in Chicago in 1905. It is an organization of business, professional, and community leaders united worldwide to provide humanitarian service and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
