Voters Form Long Line at Library Community Room

29

A long line formed outside the South Pasadena Library Community Room early Tuesday morning as residents went to the polls to vote in a new president, cast ballots on a number of local and regional propositions and voted for candidates seeking state assembly and senate seats. Another hot topic was Measure M, designed to reduce traffic, create jobs and help relieve traffic congestion if passed. While the presidency between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump was on the minds of many, local voters were asked to weigh in on Measure SP, a $98 million bond measure to upgrade the five campuses in the South Pasadena Unified School District.
