Woman’s Club Fashion Show Benefits High School Seniors

Women in the community are invited to attend the Woman’s Club of South Pasadena’s Fashion Show and fundraising luncheon to be held Saturday, September 24th at the Clubhouse, 1424 Fremont Avenue in South Pasadena. The event will feature an exciting fashion show presented by L&M Fashions, a delicious luncheon with wine, live music with local musician, Ed Simpson, and an array of raffle and door prizes.  Proceeds will benefit the Club’s Arts and Music Scholarships for high school seniors.

Show producer, Loretta Sandoval, owner of L & M Fashions, has been dressing Orange County and Los Angeles County Women since 1987. Her ready-to-wear line is designed for the California lifestyle and combines casual elegance along with a professional look for all ages and all sizes — from the young career woman to the retiree.  Models, including Club members, will wear the latest designs and accessories.  Guests will have the opportunity to shop for a variety of accessories, including handbags and clutches, vintage and new hats, jewelry, cosmetics and L&M fashions before and after the show and lunch.

Club member and Chair, JoAnn Snyder and her committee, are busy planning the event, which begins with a social hour at 11 a.m., luncheon at noon followed by the Fashion Show. The afternoon will conclude with raffle prizes donated by local merchants and business groups.

Cost of the luncheon and fashion show is $35 per person. Advance tickets should be purchased and reservations should be made by September 17th by calling 626-441-5316  or email  aniyse@yahoo.com .
