Parents from all over South Pasadena gathered at the Arroyo Seco Golf Course last Saturday night for the South Pasadena Educational Foundation’s Parti Gras, an annual one-night extravaganza to raise proceeds for SPUSD’s schools. Co-Chaired by Kathleen Michel and Larry Abelson, this year’s event was 80’s-themed and DJ’d by the iconic former KROQ-FM DJ, Richard Blade. It also included a vintage arcade and a live auction offering tickets for a James Corden Taping and a Paul Simon Concert; a Chicago weekend getaway with rooftop Cubs game seats; a fiesta for 50; a South Pas Police Department Helicopter Ride Along; and a trip to San Miguel de Allende, to name a few.
