South Pasadena High School hosted an area public school vs private school all-star game for boys volleyball on June 7.

The Public School team won in three sets : 25-18, 25-21, and 25-17.

The public school players were coached by Ivy Chew of South Pasadena High School and the private school players were coached by Tiara Tuitama of La Salle High School.

Before the game, players from both teams taught young adults from AbilityFirst, an organization that helps children and young adults with special needs, how to play volleyball.

The game featured two players from South Pasadena, Jason Barrientos and Addison Hsiao.
