Community Be Kind to Animals Week in So Pas By South Pasadena Contributor May 11, 2018 The Pasadena Humane Society and South Pasadena’s Animal Commission partnered to celebrate Be Kind to Animal Week with an event Monday evening at the South Pas Public Library. Photo by Nancy Lem Be Kind to Animals Week is celebrated annually during the first full week of May and is the longest-running, most successful humane education campaign in American history. Buttercup, above, is very shy five-year-old female pit bull mix. She prefers laps and a sense of security. She’s affectionate and ready for adoption through the Pasadena Humane Society. ID: A454436 Larry, above, is an energetic two-year-old neutered male pit bull mix. He enjoys walks and loves attention. He’s available for adoption through the Pasadena Humane Society.
