In their first ever championship win, the South Pasadena High School girls soccer team is celebrating a 1-0 victory over Westminster High School.  The only goal was scored by SPHS #15 Corey Siegal early in the first half on a breakaway up center field.

While the weather continued and field conditions deteriorated it came down to the Tigers incredible defense who hasn’t been scored on since January 10. After the win, Coach Victoria Lathrop asked her team, “Do you want to go to state?”

Stay tuned for more in depth coverage and photos of the exciting evening.
