The Kiwanis Club of South Pasadena held its monthly dinner meeting at Canoe House on Wednesday evening, April 25. The speaker for this meeting was Gideon Schein, a Personal Financial Officer with the Eddy & Schein Group. Gideon discussed the need for member to have their personal records in order for future emergencies, travel, taxes and life changes. His topic areas ranged from the types of documents that we need to ensure are updated such as wills, power of attorney, advance directive to how to handle digital records. With over 18 years of experience working with clients in New York and California, Gideon was able to provide examples he has encounter with his clients.  Henry Wong, President of the club presented Gideon with a coffee mug to thank him for his presentation.  Also in attendance were club members Ernie Arnold, Fred Harris and Carol Wait.
