Monterey Hills PTA Hosts Silent Auction, Car Parade

First published in the Dec. 10 print issue of the South Pasadena Review

The Monterey Hills Elementary School PTA recently kicked off its silent auction fundraiser with a car parade, in collaboration with the Dads Uniting Dads in Education and Service, or D.U.D.E.S.
D.U.D.E.S. led the car parade with holiday music, as parents passed out fliers advertising the silent auction to South Pasadena neighborhoods surrounding our elementary schools. The silent auction fundraiser is still going on this week through Sunday, Dec. 12, and it closes at 7 p.m. Any items not bid on will be sold at retail value at the South Pasadena Farmers Market on Thursday, Dec. 16, but best to get a better deal online. To view the auction, visit 32auctions.com/mhspta.
Raffle tickets are also for sale at roadrunnerpta.com/support. Raffle baskets include items surrounding themes such as Boredom Busters, Dazzles of Disney, Travel Wonders, Pamper Me, Lotto Scratchers, Pet Lover’s Delight, and Date Nights in L.A.
