The Orchard Supply Hardware Store, better known as OSH, in South Pasadena is closing its doors for good, according to store employees and customers.

There is no timeline for the closing of the longtime So Pas store at 452 Fair Oaks Ave., but sources say it’s probably near the end of the year. The cause for the closure was unknown but again store employees that spoke on condition of anonymity say it’s being driven by a “liquidation.”

The store’s manager declined to comment only to say, “we’re open today,” before referring all inquiries to corporate headquarters. Calls to the number provided went unanswered as well as an email sent to corporate headquarters seeking comment and more details regarding the closure.

Stay tuned to this developing story.
