South Pasadena Police Department Crime Report

A 42-year-old South Pasadena woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after being pulled over at 1:55 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, near the intersection of Grand Avenue and Magnolia Street.

A Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was reported stolen from where it was parked in the 1100 block of Mission Street sometime between 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, and 10:06 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 7.

An unidentified man was seen taking a package and a baby stroller from the lobby of an apartment complex in the 1800 block of State Street at 5:23 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, after tampering with the front lobby doors. The intruder was described as a 20-30-year-old Black man weighing 180-200 pounds, standing between 5 feet-8 inches and 5 feet-10 inches tall and wearing a black hoodie, gray sweatpants and gray New Balance shoes with pink accents.

Four unidentified teenage girls were seen shoplifting cosmetics from Rite Aid on Fair Oaks Avenue at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6. They were all described as 13-15-year-old Black girls who left in a black Mercedes-Benz sedan.

A bicycle was reported stolen from a patio in the 300 block of Pasadena Avenue sometime from 8:20-9:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 10.

A window to a building in the 1500 block of Columbia Street was reported to have been smashed with an unknown object sometime from 6:05-6:46 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10.

Golf clubs and golf equipment were reported stolen from a Hyundai Sonata sedan parked on Le Droit Drive sometime between 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, and 7 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25.

A 22-year-old Huntington Park man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance after being pulled over at 10:49 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, in the 100 block of Pasadena Avenue.

A 28-year-old Bell man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia after being pulled over at 3:06 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, near the intersection of Mission Street and Pasadena Avenue.

There was a hit-and-run reported at 8:25 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, in the 1700 block of Rollin Street.
