THEFT

7-16-19, 8:08 a.m. to 9:32 a.m., 1800 block of Bushnell. ’08 Jeep Wrangler. Suspect(s) removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Spare tire.

7-17-19, 1:36 p.m. to 2:11 p.m., 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Suspect enters store and employee sees suspect take loss into the restroom. Suspect opens and consumes loss then exits store without paying. Officers locate suspect walking away from the store. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 41 years, Los Angeles. LOSS: Alcohol.

7-18-19, 7:13 a.m. to 7:39 a.m., 900 block of Fair Oaks (Rite Aid). Suspect enters store and employee sees suspect exit store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Middle Eastern, 25-30 years old, wearing a black hat, dark jacket, dark pants, dark shoes and a backpack. LOSS: Cosmetics.

7-18-19, 1:45 p.m. to 2:06 p.m., 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect enters store and employee sees suspect place loss into shopping cart and leave store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, late 20’s, wearing a navy blue shirt, dark colored pants and black shoes. LOSS: Laundry detergent.

7-20-19, 11:37 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., 800 block of Fairview. ’15 Mercedes Benz C300. Suspect(s) remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: License plate.

7-20-19, 5:20 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Suspect enters store and takes loss. Officers locate suspect walking away from store. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 27 years, Richmond. LOSS: Food items.

7-22-19, 12:25 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., 900 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect takes unsecured loss from bike rack. LOSS: Bicycle.

7-22-19, 5:20 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect enters store and takes loss. Officers locate suspect walking away from store. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 27 years, Richmond. LOSS: Food items.

ROBBERY

7-16-19, 2:11 p.m. to 3:10 p.m., 90 block of Pasadena. Suspect approaches victim (who is sleeping) and wakes him up. Suspect demands loss from victim and victim refuses to comply. Suspect then strikes victim’s face and takes loss. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, mid 30’s, 5’06”, mustache, goatee, wearing a black baseball hat, gray shirt, black shorts. LOSS: Cell phone, wallet.

TRESPASSING

7-16-19, 8:06 p.m. to 8:17 p.m., 1000 block of Fairview. Suspect returns to victim’s property after being told to leave the area and not return. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 23 years, Chino Hills.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

7-18-19, 11:39 a.m. to 2:41 p.m., 1700 block of Gillette Crescent. Suspect(s) shatter window to gain entry into victim’s residence. LOSS: Unknown.

DUI

7-19-19, 12:52 p.m. to 1:12 p.m., 600 block of Fair Oaks. Officers respond to a hit and run traffic collision and find suspect to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 53 years, South Pasadena.

ASSAULT

7-19-19, 1:01 p.m. to 2:26 p.m., 200 block of Monterey. Suspect strikes victim’s face and scratches victim’s neck. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Female, White, 55 years, South Pasadena.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC

7-20-19, 12:02 a.m. to 12:18 a.m., Fairview/Mission. Officers respond to a call of an intoxicated subject who appeared to be lost. Officers find the subject to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 60 years, South Pasadena.

AUTO BURGLARY

7-21-19, 2:41 p.m. to 3:50 p.m., 2000 block of Alpha. ’10 Honda Insight. Suspect(s) smashes window to gain entry. LOSS: Clothing.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

7-22-19, 2:46 a.m. to 2:58 a.m., Hawthorne/Indiana. Officer responds to a suspicious vehicle call and finds the driver to be in possession of methamphetamine. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 27 years.

FRAUD

7-22-19, 11:17 a.m. to 11:47 a.m., 800 block of Mission. Suspect poses as an Apple employee and calls victim, telling her that her computer was hacked. Suspect instructs victim to provide payment in the form of gift cards in order to get rid of the malware. Victim complies with victim’s instructions.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD

7-20-19, 11 a.m. to 7-22-19, 12:06 p.m., 600 block of Prospect. Suspect makes unauthorized transactions with victim’s debit card.
