9-17-19, 9:22 a.m. to 11:07 a.m., 1400 block of Fremont. Suspect brings a vaping pen with THC to school. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, juvenile.

9-20-19, 8:50 a.m. to 9:41 a.m., 1400 block of Fremont. Suspect uses a THC vape pen on school grounds. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, juvenile.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC

9-17-19, 3:09 p.m. to 4:06 p.m.,1700 block of Huntington. Officer responds to a call of a subject sleeping in a courtyard and finds the subject to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, white, 61 years, Los Angeles.

IDENTITY THEFT/CREDIT CARD FRAUD/CHECK FRAUD

9-17-19, 3:59 p.m. to 4:23 p.m. p.m., 1000 block of Indiana. Suspect uses victim’s Social Security number for employment.

9-18-19, 4:35 p.m. to 5 p.m., 700 block of Valley View. Suspect makes unauthorized withdrawals with victim’s banking information.

THEFT

9-6-19, 2:23 p.m. to 9-17-19, 4:28 p.m., 1200 block of Huntington. ’15 Volkswagen Golf. Suspect(s) enter victim’s unlocked vehicle and take loss. LOSS: Car registration, check book, passport, watches.

9-18-19, 10:37 a.m. to 10:54 a.m., 1500 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect cuts lock securing victim’s lock. LOSS: Bicycle.

8-29-19, 12:01 a.m. to 9-18-19, 6 a.m., 1800 block of Hardison. ’00 Ford Excursion. Suspect cuts and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

9-19-19, 4:23 p.m. to 4:51 p.m., 1700 block of Garfield. Suspect enters victim’s unlocked vehicle and takes loss. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, white, 30 years, wearing a burgundy shirt and blue shorts. LOSS: Purse.

9-19-19, 5:08 p.m. to 5:23 p.m., 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect enters store and employee sees suspect take loss and leave store without paying. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, 16-18 years, wearing a pink dress-up shirt, riding a skateboard. LOSS: Flowers.

9-21-19, 10:47 p.m. to 11 p.m., 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspect enters store and employee sees suspect take loss and leave store without paying. Officer locates suspect outside of the store and finds suspect to be under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, white, 35 years, Long Beach. LOSS: Alcohol (recovered).

9-22-19, 4:49 p.m. to 6 p.m., 600 block of Fair Oaks. ’08 Ford E250. Suspect cuts and removes loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

9-15-19, 2:34 a.m. to 2:35 a.m., 1900 block of Illinois. Suspect removes loss from victim’s front door. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Hispanic, 30s- 40s, short black hair, 5-foot-9”, 165 pounds, with multiple tattoos on right arm, wearing a blue bandana, black and gray shorts, gray long-sleeve shirt, red shoes. LOSS: Video doorbell.

DUI

9-18-19, 4:01 p.m. to 4:22 p.m., 300 block of Monterey. Officer responds to a reckless driver and finds the suspect to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, white, 39 years, Los Angeles.

VANDALISM

9-19-19, 12:37 p.m. to 2:48 p.m., 1400 block of Fremont. Suspect uses a marker and spray paint to deface school property. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, juvenile.

ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON

9-19-19, 8:42 p.m., 1000 block of Fair Oaks. Suspect gets into a verbal altercation with victim and pulls out a knife while walking toward victim. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, white, 35 years, Los Angeles.

FRAUD

9-20-19, 4:16 p.m. to 4:43 p.m., 2000 block of Berkshire. Suspect poses as a Social Security Administration employee and informs victim that his Social Security number has been compromised. Suspect then instructs victim to purchase multiple gift cards in order to secure and transfer funds into a new social security number. Victim complies with suspect’s instructions.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

9-21-19, 7:28 a.m. to 7:52 a.m., 500 block of Camino Verde. Suspect attempts to pry open victim’s bedroom window.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

9-22-19, 1:22 a.m. to 1:32 a.m., 400 block of Fair Oaks. Officer on patrol contacts subject and finds subject to be in possession of methamphetamine. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, white, 29 years, transient.
