Tonight was a losing battle from start to finish for the South Pasadena varsity football team as they were shut out for the first time this season as the Eagle Rock Eagles handed the Tigers one of the worst losses in So Pas gridiron history, 68-0.

The Eagles were in another more powerful dimension as their disciplined passing attack was just way too much for the So Pas Tigers. The Eagles are now 6-0.
“They are a solid team,” is all Greg Luna, So Pas athletic director, had to say as the Tigers left the field. This brings the Tigers preseason record to 2-4.
The Tigers open league play next Friday against powerful San Marino at San Marino.
Read all about the Eagle Rock game with coach’s interviews and statistics in the print edition of The Review next Friday.
